The Peace Stupa of Zalaszanto was threatened by decay. Due to the bad quality of the construction-material the wall of the stupa flaked off and even the bricks dilapidated. The renovation of the stupa was prepared by the Foundation of Peace in the year 2005 and in summer 2006 the construction could start off. Thanks to generous donations the building work can be continued efficiently and it is highly possible to have the renovation work finished by the end of this summer.

The place around the stupa is blessed. Many great masters will come in order to give teachings and instructions for the practice. So far 30.000 people visit this holy building every year.

In the Lotos Sutra the Buddha says: In this degenerate age stupas should be built. Thus, land and people are getting purified!

Pyung Hwa Sa - Society of Peace, Buddhist Temple offers Dharma practice and teachings with traditional Buddhist teachers, which will be held on a regular basis in the meditation- and meeting room in the Donaurestaurant Lindmayer (restaurant at the river Danube).

Pyung Hwa Sa is a buddhist institute and member of the Austrian Buddhist Society.

The practice is especially focused on the Lotus Sutra.
